“With sadness in my heard, I am letting you know that we lost another Brother yesterday. Skip Franges passed away 13 October 2025 as a result from complications due to a bad fall about a week prior suffering 3 broken ribs and a fractured sternum. During treatment in ICU more complications set in and he was put on a ventilator. As his body was not responding to treatment, he was taken off life support and passed away 3 hours later.
Skip served as my platoon leader, 2nd platoon, Charlie Co 3/8th 4th infantry Division 67-68 before taking over the LRRP platoon in 1968. He was involved with the reformation of the Ivy Dragoons.”
Skip was from Bethlehem, PA. He graduated from Liberty High School in 1965.

“I was so sorry to hear about Skip’s passing. We went through school from first grade on up together. He was a great friend, always having a lot of fun. He was the one who suggested we keep on having these monthly lunches when we had the first one with our classmates and then we invited the whole class of ‘65. He will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to his children and to his wife, JoAnne and family. Rest in peace, Skip.”
