POEHLMAN, KENNETH G. of Waterford; passed away peacefully at home on August 8, 2015 at age 66, surrounded by family and friends. Loving husband of Paulette; Dear father of Kevin (Jennifer) Poehlman and Kane Poehlman; Dear brother of Ronald (Lita) Poehlman, Karen McDonald (late Charles) and Tina Poehlman. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Poehlman served as an Airborne Ranger in the United States Army and retired from Applied Industrial Technologies. He was an avid bowler, loved animals and his 1965 Mustang. He was a great joke teller. He made everyone smile with his jokes. The family would like to thank Nora R.N. and the Heart to Heart Hospice, Karmanos, Huron Valley Hospital and the Detroit V.A. Hospital. A committal service will be held Friday, August 28, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly. Following the service a luncheon will be held at Century Bowl, 7345 Highland Road, Waterford. Memorials may be made to Great Lakes National Cemetery.
